I am a Graduate student at Full Sail. I am in the Entertainment Business program. I graduate in September. I am working on a social networking idea for youth and young adults who have a passion for film, music and/or dance. I am looking for a partner(s) who can help make the idea a success. I would love to network with more students at Full Sail to see if this would be of interest to others. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Dawn – I noticed that you joined the iWomen group on Facebook (which is a great start for networking with other students) and I know that there are several ladies that are in the Entertainment Business program as well as other programs that might be interested. You can always post on the Facebook Fan page to see who might be interested and responds to your post. In addition, all of us women meet in the Wimba room IMBS Virutal Room on the last Tuesday of every month at 8:30 p.m. That would be an awesome opportunity to introduce yourself and get to know some of the ladies as well.
It sounds like a wonderful idea for youth and young adults and I know I would love to hear more about it. I have two daughters that have always been interested in film and I love working with the youth of this generation.
Another suggestion would be to share your idea with some of the instructors (if you haven’t already done so) and ask them if there are other students that they have come across that might be interested.

I am not a Full Sail student. I’m an entrepreneur with a business model that doesn’t require start-up capital. In other words, you won’t require a partner to fund the project. If it’s a good idea, it will succeed on its own merit.
I’d like to work with you personally to help you get your venture launched.

Since you know so much about various business models, I’d like your input on my WordPress blog (blog.LivingWidgets.com), which describes various business models (52 and counting), with the goal of getting like-minded people together to work on the same model. The models are not exclusively Internet based, and many can be used in Internet and/or brick-and-mortar businesses.
